Komatsu WA800-3E0 and WA900-3E0 Wheel Loader Field Assembly Instruction (GEN00056-06)

A WA800 or WA900 can't go down the road in one piece. The frames, axles, tires and cab ship separately, and GEN00056-06 is Komatsu's step-by-step book for joining them back up on site.

Fits

WA800-3E0 from serial 70001 and WA900-3E0 from serial 60001. These are the -3E0 machines. The older WA800-3 and WA900-3 have their own guides, GEN00018-00 and GEN00019-00.

What's in it

The opening pages show how the machine is broken down, the size and weight of each part, the work space you need, the schedule, and the facilities, jigs, tools, oils, grease and paint. The build starts with setting and joining the front and rear frames, fitting the steering pin and the center drive shaft. Then comes the piping, including the auto-greasing lines, then the front and rear axles and drive shafts. Tires, fuel tank, drains and breathers follow. The floor and cab go on last, with the A/C, brake and PPC lines and the wiring harness connections.

Optional setups such as brake cooling and the Riotinto spec are covered too.

It's for dealer assembly crews and mine contractors putting a new or relocated loader together. It also helps if you're moving one of these between sites and need to know how it splits and goes back together.
