What's in it

After the general specs and fluids, section 10 covers structure and function for the power train, torque converter, transmission, axles, differentials, steering, brakes, hydraulics, PPC valves, work equipment and electrical. Section 20 gives the standard values, pressure checks, adjustments and troubleshooting.

Section 30 covers disassembly and assembly of the main components. Section 40 is the maintenance standards, with wear limits and repair standards for each part.

Many WA450-3s have done a lot of hours. The usual work is transmission clutches, brakes, steering cylinders, and pins and bushings in the bucket linkage. This book has the factory values for all of it.

Most people use a book like this one section at a time. Look up the system that's giving trouble, read how it's meant to work, test it against the standard values, and only then order parts. That order saves money, because a reading that's close to spec usually points somewhere other than the part you suspected first.
