What's in it

After the general specs and fluids, section 10 covers the HST pumps and travel motors, final drive, brakes, PPC valves, loader hydraulics, work equipment and electrical system. Section 20 gives the standard value tables for the engine and machine, and section 30 covers the pressure checks and adjustments.

Section 40 is troubleshooting, by failure code and then problem by problem. Section 50 covers removal, installation and rebuild, and section 90 has the hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Skid steers are used hard by rental fleets, farms and landscapers. Drive chain or final drive wear, HST faults and weak lift are the common repairs. The standard values let you check the hydrostatic pressures before you condemn a pump.
