Section 10 is the core of the book. It covers the main assembly groups and the prime drive (mounts, drive shafts, couplings, fan drive and pump distributor gearbox). Then the hydraulic oil reservoir and cooling, controls, main pumps and regulation, operating hydraulics, track tensioning, the hydraulic access ladder and the refilling arm. It finishes with how to read the circuit diagrams and the Electronic Control System (ECS).
Section 40 covers fault finding for the main systems, and section 50 the removal and installation of major components.
