What's in it

Section 10 covers the main assembly groups and the electric prime drive (motor, flexible coupling and pump distributor gearbox). Then the hydraulic oil reservoir and cooling, controls, main pumps and regulation, operating hydraulics, track tensioning, hydraulic access ladder and cable drum. It closes with reading circuit diagrams and the Electronic Control System (ECS).

Section 40 covers fault finding for the main systems, and section 50 the removal and installation of major components.

The cable drum and motor coupling are what set the E machine apart, and they need their own procedures. Mine electricians and hydraulic fitters will use this book together.
