Komatsu PC35R-8 and PC45R-8 Mini Excavator Shop Manual (WEBM003000)

The PC35R-8 and PC45R-8 share most of their hardware, so Komatsu covers both in one shop manual. WEBM003000 is the later edition, for machines past the early serial range.

What's in it

It covers the CLSS load-sensing hydraulics, the variable pump, the control valve and PPC valves, the swing and travel motors and the cylinders. It explains how each one works and then gives the values to test it against. The testing chapter includes engine checks for both models, hydraulic pressures, speeds and troubleshooting. After that come removal and installation of the main components and the maintenance standards with their wear limits.

Like the other R-8 minis, the book starts at section 10, with no separate general specs section.

It's a good fit for landscapers, utility contractors and rental shops running these 3.5 and 4.5 tonne machines. Typical jobs it helps with are tracking down weak hydraulics, travel motor leaks, swing problems and worn pins and bushings.
