Komatsu PC3000-1 Hydraulic Mining Shovel Shop Manual - Serial 6171 (SMPC30006171)

Komatsu Mining Germany didn't write one generic PC3000 shop manual. It wrote them machine by machine. This one, SMPC30006171, was put together for PC3000-1 serial number 6171, a diesel-drive front shovel with a loader bucket. It's dated July 2006.

What's in it

It's organized by system. The main assembly groups chapter shows how the machine is laid out: the diesel drive, control blocks, swing gear, undercarriage, travel drive and cab. Then come the hydraulic oil tank with its filters, pressure switches and sensors, and the oil cooling circuit with the fan drive, relief and solenoid valves and the checks to set them. The main pumps and their regulation get a chapter, which is where most of the adjustment work is. After that come the operating hydraulics, hydraulic track tensioning, notes on reading the hydraulic and electric circuit diagrams, and the electronic monitoring system.
