SEBM013103 is Komatsu's 2000 shop manual for the PC12R-8 and PC15R-8 micro excavators. These are small machines, but the CLSS load-sensing hydraulics on them still need the right numbers to diagnose properly.
PC12R-8 and PC15R-8 from serial 10001. For PC15R-8 machines from serial F21803, use WEBM002800 instead, and WEBM000100 covers the F-serial PC12R-8 and PC15R-8. Both are in our catalog. The 3D68E-3 engine has its own manual in the 68 Series.
It starts with general specs, weights and dimensions. The PC12R-8 is about 1,300 kg with 10.3 kW (13.8 HP) and 1,900 mm dig depth, and the PC15R-8 is about 1,455 kg. The structure and function chapter covers the CLSS hydraulics, the pump, the control valve, the PPC valves and the swing and travel motors. Testing, adjusting and troubleshooting comes next, then disassembly and assembly, then the maintenance standards and wear limits.
