Komatsu PC1250-8, PC1250LC-8, PC1250SP-8 Hydraulic Excavator Field Assembly Instruction (GEN00055-08)

A PC1250-8 doesn't arrive in one piece. GEN00055-08 is the field guide for building it back up on site, and it covers the PC1250LC-8 and the PC1250SP-8 as well, even though the file name leaves the SP-8 out.

PC1250-8, PC1250LC-8 and PC1250SP-8 from serial 30001. For the earlier PC1250-7, use GEN00015-03, which we also stock.

What's in it

It starts with the track frames, travel piping, covers, steps and handrails. Then it moves on to greasing the swing circle and joining the upper structure to the undercarriage, which is the biggest lift of the job. The swivel travel piping, counterweight sheet, cover board and counterweight follow, then the radiator cover and remaining exterior parts.

The work equipment goes on last: boom, arm and bucket, with the grease piping and wiring. The book finishes with air bleeding, hydraulic flushing and the final checks before handover.

Assembly crews like to read the whole sequence before the trucks arrive, so cranes, stands and tooling are in place. It's also useful when a machine is moved between mine sites and has to be split and rebuilt again.
