What's in it

It starts with the removed unit drawings, dimensions, schedule and tools. Then the bare machine is positioned, and the rear monitor, over-fenders and mudguards go on. The engine hood mirror, in standard and KAL spec, comes next, with the antenna and the KAL handrail.

N2 gas adjustment for the front and rear suspensions follows. The tail gate section covers the brackets, bearings, side arms, gate, cushion and wires. The last pages cover the chock brackets, mirror adjustment, extension-spec notes and an inspection report.

The tail gate section is the longest part of the book. It's useful for fitting a gate to a truck that didn't arrive with one, as well as for new deliveries.

Good to know

The order of the steps matters more than it looks. Some parts have to go on before others to leave room for tools or slings, and the final checks confirm everything works before the machine is handed over. Following the guide as written avoids having to take something off again to get at a bolt behind it.
