What's in it

Section 5000 covers the engine in general. It has views of each engine, a fault finding chart, engine speed adjustment, the engine mounts, technical data and the repair values. Then come the cylinder block, with the liners, rear crankshaft seal and side covers, and the cylinder head, with the valves, guides, seats and head bolt torque.

The crank assembly section covers the crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons. The engine timing gear has its own section, and the last part covers lubrication and fuel injection.

Parts and information for these older engines are hard to find. Restorers and owners still running these machines will value the repair values and the fault finding chart.
