Komatsu D61EX-12 and D61PX-12 Bulldozer Shop Manual (SEBM036700)

SEBM036700 is the 2004 shop manual for the D61EX-12 and D61PX-12. These dozers are popular for site prep and road building, and the PX is the wide-track, low-ground-pressure version.

Fits

D61EX-12 and D61PX-12 from serial 1001, S6D114E-1A engine. The later D61-15E0 machines use SEN02387-05.

What's in it

After the general specs and fluids, section 10 covers structure and function for the power train, HSS steering, brakes, final drive, undercarriage, CLSS hydraulics, work equipment and electrical. Section 20 gives the standard values, pressure checks, adjustments and troubleshooting.

Section 30 covers disassembly and assembly. This book also has a separate section 40 for the maintenance standards, with wear limits and repair standards for each part. Section 90 has the circuit diagrams.

With the maintenance standards in their own section, it's easy to check undercarriage, final drive and pin wear against the limits before you plan a rebuild. Contractors and owners keeping a D61 working will use it for that.
