SEBM035603 is the 2006 shop manual for the WA800L-3, the long-arm version of the WA800-3, with the SAA12V140ZE-2 engine.

Fits

WA800L-3 from serial 52001. The standard WA800-3 uses SEBM013411, and the WA900L-3 uses SEBM035704.

What's in it

After the general specs and fluids, section 10 covers structure and function for the power train, torque converter, transmission, axles, differentials, steering and emergency steering, brakes, hydraulics, PPC and EPC valves, work equipment and electrical. Section 20 gives the standard values, pressure checks, adjustments and troubleshooting.

Section 30 covers disassembly and assembly, section 40 the maintenance standards and wear limits, and section 90 the circuit diagrams.

The L machine has a different boom and linkage from the standard WA800-3, so the work equipment figures aren't the same. Mine maintenance teams running a mixed fleet should keep the right book for each loader.

Good to know

A tip from shops that use these books every day: read the structure and function pages for a system before you start testing it. Knowing how the valves and circuits are meant to work makes the test results much easier to read. The standard values then tell you whether a reading is normal, borderline or out of spec, and the wear limits decide whether a part goes back in.
