The general section goes deeper than most. It covers specifications and drain and refill capacities, inch and metric torque tables, fuel and lubricant specs, and full predelivery assembly: fitting the boom, arm, bucket and counterweight, adjusting bucket linkage, setting track gauge and transport position. Two counterweight methods are shown, depending on whether the machine has the hydraulic removal option. After that come the operational checkout and theory of operation, diagnostics and tests for the engine, electrical system, power train and hydraulics.
