TM2270 is the repair manual for the 8030 Series. Transmissions and front axles each get their own sections because the options varied from tractor to tractor, so you follow the procedures for the hardware your tractor actually has.

What this manual covers

It covers general information and torque values, engine removal and repair, fuel and cooling with radiator, coolers and AC condenser, and electrical with wiring, charging, starting and monitoring. Power Shift and AutoPowr/IVT each have removal, in-tractor repair and rebuild procedures. Drive systems cover drive shafts and the hydraulic pump drive. Separate sections cover the standard MFWD axle, the 1500 Series MFWD axle and Independent Link Suspension. Then steering and brakes, and hydraulics with hitch valve, SCVs and couplers.
