The 4100 came in three drive versions, and TM1630 covers all of them, with specs side by side so you can see what applies to yours. It's the April 2001 edition of the dealer technical manual and replaces the 1998 printing.

What this manual covers

It covers specs for each configuration, the diesel engine, and the electrical system (12 V, 45 Ah battery, 20 A standard or 35/40 A optional alternator). It also covers the gear and hydrostatic power trains, steering, brakes and hydraulics. Each section has component location, schematics, theory, troubleshooting charts, diagnostics, tests and adjustments, and repair. The electrical section includes engine shutoff circuit diagnosis for gear and hydro tractors, which helps track down no-starts caused by the seat switch circuit.
