Each repair group (cylinder head and valves, block, liners, pistons and rods, crankshaft, main bearings and flywheel, camshaft, balancer shafts and timing gears, lubrication, cooling, intake and exhaust with turbocharger, and fuel system with injection pump and nozzles) opens with its special tools, wear limits and torque values before the procedure. The last part covers engine operation with a sectional view, plus diagnostic tests for the air intake and fuel systems.
